Gardening
My sister’s plants are the
best. They are just special. Of course she takes after Mama. She loved plants
and flowers of all shapes and colors.
Mama spent a lot of time
gardening and investing in many pots that would nurture and separate the
beautiful hands of nature. I marvel at the beauty of plants and how they grow
to birth such colorful flowers.
Ros is doing the same as
Mama, spending time at flower stalls and talking about and selecting the
variety of tropical flowers that bloom all year round.
Now she wants to make it
her work, tending them for others to enjoy. Visiting their homes and recreating
a wealth of color. Is it nature or nurture? I am not sure, but I believe there
is something that draws us to enjoy what we have experienced and sometimes even
replicate it!
Here we go again!
I love looking at beautiful gardens! Your sister's passion for flowers is great :)

Your slice is a lovely celebration of your sister and mom and gardening. My sister is a gardener too. She is more into vegetables and herbs. Flower beds are for mom. I don't have a green thumb. I am the admirer.
ReplyDeleteYour words and images say it all. We are expecting a foot or more of snow on Tuesday. Your posy gives me hope:)
ReplyDeleteNice! I love the thoughts of your sister and and family connection.
ReplyDeleteIt is a blessing that she can blend her passion with her work!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I love flower gardens... I'm just not good at them yet! :-)
ReplyDeleteThough my thumb is decidedly ungreen, I can still appreciate the beauty of plants and this connection to your mama.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful.
ReplyDeleteI envy those that already have gardens or always are able to garden! I am looking forward to warmer weather and my daffodils peeking through letting me know that spring has sprung!
ReplyDeleteLovely flowers. I am inspired to tend my garden better. Gardening is good exercise.
ReplyDeleteThank you for blooming a little joy in my heart today!
